Does love come in levels? I don't mean 'kinds' of love like love of parents, love of friends, love of a sweetheart...
I'm talking about levels. Can you love this much, or just this much? Enough to leave everything behind or just as long as you agree on most things.
It is supposed to be all or nothing at all? Or is it still love when conditions apply?
What a great question! Looking back at my own life I can say that there are levels of love within any given relationship (speaking of the romantic type). For example, my last bf, my love for him grew slowly and got to the point where I would have left everything behind. Luckily it was at the point that I learned he was not truthful with me and was not the kind of man I thought he was. It took a while for my love to catch up with my senses, I wanted to ignore the obvious, but I couldn't. I could not live with someone who could look into my eyes and lie. But I do think love grows and has its ups and downs over the years...for those lucky enough to find it in the first place!
