What Matters Most

My heart goes out to my blogger friend Mark. I know how it feels when a love has to end. You have the memories. Hang in there.

It's not how long we held each other's hand
What matters is how well we loved each other
It's not how far we travelled on our way
Of what we found to say
It's not the spring you see, but all the shades of green

It's not how long I held you in my arms
What matters is how sweet the years together
It's not how many summertimes we had to give to fall
The early morning smiles we tearfully recall
What matters most is that we loved at all.

It's not how many summertimes we had to give to fall
The early morning smiles we tearfully recall
What matters most is that we loved at all.

What matters most is that we loved at all.

  1. That song totally freaks me out. I mean, it's supposed to be a love song, right? But everytime I hear it, it just gives me the wig and all, like there's this freaky spirit all around me, raising all my body hair. In other words, the song kinda reminds me of an ELEGY or somethin'.

    Sheesh I'm talking too much.

Anywho, thanks for blog crashing and I'm sorry for what happened to your friend. :-)
