By November, it'll be a year that I've been single. I can already feel the panic building up =)
The thing is, though, this is the first time I've actually gone through dating and "getting to know" others... It really doesn't work for me.
I guess I believe in love at 1st sight. If I have to exert effort to win someone over, I always end up thinking... "shouldn't he prove himself too?"
Just because I'm immediately sure I like someone doesn't make me the one who should prove himself.

So why isn't he?
Of course, I also don't think that getting to know each other is really about proving oneself to the other anyway. It's actually about getting to know each other and allowing the relationship to grow naturally and organically. And sometimes, it's about "good fit" which isn't so much about either individual, but about the chemistry they have together.
