Some say that we can't go on chasing love, because like happiness, the more you chase after it the more elusive it becomes. They say that it'll just come at the right time. But what if all of us wait... then how do people find each other?
Shouldn't we make an effort to find it?
I personally think that the real issue is one of mindset rather than activity. If you go into each encounter with a new person with the mentality of "maybe he's the one," it can have some negative effects on the experience. Your demeanor tends to change. How you respond to the situation tends to change.
ReplyDeleteHowever, if you go into each situation with an attitude of making and building friendships, everything's different. It takes the pressure off. Things become a more enjoyable experience. And then if you happen to really hit it off with one of your new friends, you can consider exploring the possibillities that lie beyond friendship.
