Not everything has to be captured on the page. Some just need to be hinted at or totally left out altogether. That's not self-censorship. We just want to make sure our ideas and stories don't drive readers nuts. Just because we feel good writing about something it doesn't necessarily follow that it also means the world to our readers. Holly Jahangiri has a nice description for self-indulgent writing. She warns that this kind of writing reads like a full-blown gastro-enteritis case. But it's your call. You're your own editor in chief. Just shoot me an email when you've something particularly earth-shaking revelation to share. I'd like to have that front row seat. :)jangeronimohttp://writingtoexhale.com/noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7767464070473675652.post-42860189635380010412010-01-30T05:14:39.914+08:002010-01-30T05:14:39.914+08:00Thanks! I also write mostly negative things lately and when I am down....but that's just life right now. Thanks for this food for thought.

I lost my disqus password so can't use it anymorebarbaraLaylanoreply@blogger.com
